National Reading Day 2025-26
*National Reading Day* is observed on June 19th every year to honor the legacy of *P.N. Panicker* , the father of the Library Movement in Kerala. Our *NMF junior college* *library* is proud to commemorate this day to promote reading habits among students and highlight the importance of books in education and personal growth.

International Yoga Day Celebration 2025-26
*Nirmala Memorial Foundation Junior College of Commerce and Science Organized International Yoga Day.* On 21st June 2025, Nirmala Memorial Foundation Junior College of Commerce and Science conducted International Day of Yoga, a United Nations-proclaimed day to promote awareness and benefits of Yoga for physical, mental and emotional well-being. The Cultural Committee organized a special session focusing on meditation and simple warm-up exercises suitable for the students. Students participated in the meditation session, exploring mindfulness and inner peace, and practiced gentle stretches and breathing exercises including: - Neck stretches - Shoulder rolls - Wrist movements - Deep breathing exercises The event aimed to: - Cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness - Reduce stress and promote relaxation - Enhance focus and mental clarity Through these exercises, students gained valuable techniques to calm their minds, improve concentration and achieve balance in their lives, promoting mental wellness and holistic development in our community.
Annual Day Celebration 2024
A Celebration of Tradition, Talent, and Togetherness! The Annual Day Celebration, held at the magnificent K. Divine Lawns, was a grand affair that took everyone on a dazzling journey through the colorful and vibrant world of Bollywood. With over 1300 students attending, the event was a spectacle of talent, creativity, and exuberance, showcasing the true spirit of entertainment and camaraderie. The theme for this year’s Annual Day, "Bollywood Extravaganza," was chosen to celebrate the glitz, glamour, and magic of Indian cinema, bringing together the essence of drama, music, and dance. The venue, K. Divine Lawns, with its sprawling lawns and elegant ambiance, was transformed into a glittering Bollywood stage, setting the perfect backdrop for an evening of excitement and celebration. The event commenced at 6:00 p.m. with a heartfelt tribute to our beloved Dadaji, honoring his memory and the invaluable contributions he made to the institution. Following the tribute, the members of the management were felicitated for their unwavering support and dedication to the growth and success of the institution. Their presence and encouragement played a pivotal role in shaping the celebration, it was evident throughout the evening, as they cheered on and recognized the incredible efforts of all those involved.The students took center stage in a series of performances that included Bollywood-inspired dances, music renditions, and more. Each performance was a tribute to the diverse genres and rich culture of Bollywood, with students bringing to life iconic songs and unforgettable movie scenes. The energy, enthusiasm, and skill displayed by the students were truly outstanding, leaving the audience mesmerized and cheering for more. The event was a resounding success, and it stands as a testament to the talent, dedication, and hard work of the students, faculty, and management.

Christmas Day Celebration 2024-25
Christmas bash was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on Monday, 23rd December 2024. The carnival went singing carols along with Santa Claus throughout the college and school premises, distributing sweets and happiness. Secret Santa was also celebrated for the entire staff of the institution. Christmas tree making and Snowman making competitions also receive tremendous response. Raas Garba Celebration 2024-25
Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated in the autumn every year. It is observed for various reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent. On this occasion, Cultural Committee of Nirmala memorial foundation junior college of commerce and science organized Raas Garba on 3rd October, 2024. All the Students, Faculty and Staff Members of Nmfjc enthusiastically participated in the event. Azadi ka Mahostav celebration 2024-25
*"Freedom is a Priceless Gem Try to Preserve it !"* NMF Junior College celebrated *'Patriotic Day':* *"Azadi ka Mahotsav"* on *17th August 2024* ;*Saturday.* On this occasion following competitions were held: 1.*Essay Writing Competition* 2 *Poetry Recitation Competition,* 3.*Poster Making Competition* The theme for the competitions was *'Patriotism'*. The competitions aimed at encouraging creative and critical thinking among students and also inculcate Patriotism. Students wholeheartedly participated in these various competitions. On this day to create awareness *Rally* was organised. The competitions concluded with an award ceremony .

Friendship Day Celebration 2024-25
*“A Best Friend Is Like A Four-Leaf Clover, Hard To Find And Lucky To Have.”* *NMF junior college* Students celebrated *Friendship Day* on *Friday, 9th August, 2024* by exchanging friendship bands to strengthen the bond of affection. On the occasion of Friendship day, Management has given the opportunity to the students by organising " *Business start up* " to build entreprenureship skills where enthusiastic future business sharks put up Friendship band stalls where they showed their business skills and earn handsome profit.

Go Green Day Celebration and Best out of waste competition 2024-25
To create awareness amongst the students to protect and preserve the environment, *NMF junior college of commerce and science* organised *GO GREEN DAY* on *Friday, 26th July, 2024.* Different activities were conducted on this occasion. * *Plantation* * *Vruksh Dindi* * *Best out of waste competition* The initiatives undertaken by the Management, staff and students will continue to inspire and promote a deeper understanding of the interconnection between human and nature.

Nirmala Memorial Junior College of Commerce & Science had organised Traditional day on 14th October,2023 in the College Quadrangle. Our enthusiastic participants walked the ramp wearing their best traditional costumes. Mesmerizing dance performances, Speech & Rhythmic songs kept the audience engaged.

Navaratri is one of the most important & auspicious Hindu festival To celebrate this festive season Nirmala Memorial Foundation Junior College had organized Aarti Thali Decoration Competition on 14th October, 2023 at 11:30 a.m in block no 406.
GARBA RAAS 2023
Nirmala Memorial Foundation Junior College had organised GARBA RASS 2023 Event for all the Junior college students in college Nirmala hall. There were two sessions conducted during the day. All the participants were dancing their hearts out while playing Garba. The best Dancer Boy and best dancer Girl along with best costume was awarded with cash prizes. The entire event was a grand success.

FRIENDSHIP DAY CELEBRATION
Nirmala Memorial Foundation Junior College celebrated friendship day on 5th August 2023. On the occasion of friendship day our college conducted Business startup activity from 3rd to 5th August 2023. The Management had provided initial capital in order to enhance entrepreneurship and Business skills. Various stalls were put up in college premises for the sale of friendship day accessories. The response was overwhelming and the students participated in it with full enthusiasm. They also earned a great profit thus making this activity a grand success. On the last day of event there was Friendship day celebration held for students in the classrooms wherein students of the respective divisions showcased their talents through dance, singing, mimicry, standup comedy, etc. Teachers also conducted quiz, games and other activities for making the day interesting and engaging for everyone.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME OF FYJC COMMERCE
The orientation programme was held for the students of F.Y.J.C Commerce section on 31st July, 2023 in the main auditorium. The session was divided into three slots as per the divisions .i.e. 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm,4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The orientation was hosted by Ms.Leena Joshi, Ms Priti Jain, Ms. Sherine Palanna and Mr Jenold Misquitta. The session was addressed by Incharge Principal Mrs. Shashi Yadav and Vice Principal (Commerce section) Dr.Jignesh Dalal who stressed upon the disciplinary rules and regulations of our college and also encouraged the students to achieve success in their careers. The orientation programme imparted important information about the Founder, the Management, academics, cultural, sports and various other events held during the course of the year. This programme was indeed a great success with our 900 enthusiastic students and vibrant team. So, it can be said ‘A journey well begun is half done.

Christmas Bash is an unique event organized by Nirmala Memorial Foundation Junior College which consist of Carol Singing, Christmas Carnival, Christmas Tree decoration, Star making competition and many more fun activities to celebrate this joyous occasion.

Nirmala Memorial Foundation College of Commerce and Science organised Splash 2.0, an intracollegiate event under the leadership of the Management, Academic Director, Principal of degree college, Coordinators, teachers and the non-teaching staff.
